The MICHELIN press release announcing the latest keys award winners, states: A secluded outpost set deep in the wilderness of British Columbia, reachable only by boat or seaplane, Clayoquot Wilderness Lodge offers 25 canvas tents — the first property of this kind to be awarded Three MICHELIN Keys in the world. Clayoquot Wilderness Lodge General Manager Sarah Cruse said the MICHELIN Three Keys award was an enormous honour for the off-grid luxury camp set on the banks of Clayoquot Sound’s picturesque inlet.
