The journey to Lemmens Inlet begins with a 35-minute boat ride around Meares Island - the wild coastline of Clayoquot Sound opening up as you go. By the time you arrive, the forest has come down to the water's edge and the outside world has fallen away.

The float camp is yours alone, accessible only by boat, set up and waiting by the time the captain disembarks and leaves you to the silence.

Move between the cedar sauna and cold plunges into the Pacific at your own pace. Rest on the sundeck by the gas firepit. Take a paddleboard out into the inlet if the mood calls. There is no schedule here – only the water, the forest, and however long you want to stay.

When you’re ready, a message brings the captain back. The return journey hugs the coastline, with seals, sea lions, and otters known to make an appearance along the way.

Offered in partnership with Tofino Boating Company, operation is subject to tidal conditions and requires a minimum water depth of five feet. Availability may vary.
