Journey to a corner of Canada's wilderness that few ever reach.

Flores Island is reached by Zodiac, landing at Cow Bay before an eight-kilometer journey through Ahousaht country. Guides trace the shoreline past red sea urchins and starfish, then head inland beneath old-growth Sitka spruce and western red cedar approaching a thousand years old.

The stories shared along the way – of trade routes, the Red Rocks, and the Sitka Bridge – are as old as the forest itself.
