A variety of trails vary in duration from one to five hours and cover a diverse range of terrain.

Day 1 Welcome

Feel the excitement on arrival as the seaplane glides over lush mountains and dramatic gorges, before touching down on the tranquil waters of Bedwell Sound. Continue the journey by horse-drawn wagon to the lodge, slowing down to take in the magnificent, remote wilderness.

Day 1 Evening

Arrive in nature’s grand amphitheatre, make a Champagne toast to the scenic views and explore the lodge’s guest areas and facilities. Tonight, enjoy a shared dining experience in The Cookhouse amid the theatre of the open kitchen as the chefs craft the evening’s menu.

Day 2 Morning

Hop aboard a Zodiac and embark on a small group Sights of the Sound marine adventure for unforgettable whale and bear watching. Catch a glimpse of otters and seals and even an elusive orca or coastal wolf if you’re lucky!

Day 2 Afternoon

Go for a tranquil paddle through Clayoquot Sound’s freshwater canyons and hidden bays. Suitable for all ages, guests can kayak, SUP, or canoe to observe salmon and other marine life thriving in the glacier-fed waterways.

Day 2 Evening

Savour twilight at the Ivanhoe Rooftop with a pre-dinner drink, soaking in waterfront views. Tonight, opt for a private dining tent for a celebration of Clayoquot’s fresh, sustainable produce, expertly crafted by the kitchen team.

Day 3 Morning

Choose your adventure: sunrise yoga for early birds, mountain biking for adrenaline junkies, and glacier plunges for the daring. Lift off in a scenic flight for a Champagne ‘Sip to Sky,’ toasting unforgettable days in Clayoquot Sound.

Day 3 Afternoon

After a day of wilderness adventures, indulge in a rejuvenating treatment at the Healing Grounds Spa. Unwind in the sauna or in the blissful hot tubs on the over-water deck, taking in serene views of the surroundings.

Day 3 Evening

Following a dinner that highlights premium local produce, step outside for a gathering around the fire. Enjoy fine company, savour s’mores, and reflect on the day beneath a canopy of glittering stars, set against the backdrop of the inky night sky.

Day 4 Morning

Start your day with a heli-adventure to an alpine lake for a transformative glacial plunge. Introduced with meditative breathing techniques, the cold-water immersion will leave you invigorated, setting a positive tone for appreciating Clayoquot Sound’s breathtaking landscape.

Day 4 Afternoon

Spend a leisurely afternoon on an e–bike or nature walking, explore the old-growth conifer forest on a scenic hike, or embrace adventure and level up with some rock climbing. It’s your time to unwind and experience the outdoors in your own way.

Day 4 Evening

Kick off the evening with pre-dinner drinks on the Ivanhoe deck. Then, shift gears to a cosy dinner in a private tent, featuring Clayoquot’s best sustainable eats, from just-caught seafood to free range chicken, duck and beef. Save room for dessert!

Day 5 Morning

For your final morning at Clayoquot, unwind with yoga, followed by a leisurely breakfast while soaking in the serene sound views. Relax, savour coffee on the Ivanhoe rooftop, and reflect on an incredible few days at Clayoquot.
